Thanks for all the questions at the Tungsten “replication deprivation” talk as well as your kind review. We have a solution to the client server_id problem using UDFs and are talking with folks at Percona (among others) about getting a set of standard extensions to make different types of replication easier to implement. We are also thinking about putting together a BSD-licensed Tungsten contrib project where we can accept these and other extensions.
